The Green Development and Climate Change Programme at United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is pleased to announce the upcoming editions of the moderated e-learning course on Sustainable Consumption and Production. This e-course has been developed in partnership with UN Environment, Office for Latin America and the Caribbean region. It will be delivered in English and Spanish.
Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) aims to promote resource and energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and the provision of basic services, green and decent jobs and a better quality of life for all. The course presents challenges and opportunities for SCP policies in the LAC region, as well as practical examples of approaches, tools and indicators for SCP.
Fellowships are available for participants from the region working in the public sector, academia or NGOs. To learn more and register for the course, please go to the UNITAR event catalogue.
