Sustainability Across the Curriculum Workshop

Innovating for Food Justice & Healthy Communities

Friday, May 12
8:30 am – 3:30 pm
PCC Southeast Campus, Community Hall
2305 SE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97216

This 5th Annual Faculty Training is sponsored by PCC’s Sustainability Practices for Academics and Resources Council (SPARC) and is open to college and university faculty from all disciplines and perspectives across the greater Portland region.

The workshop provides resources for faculty to meaningfully integrate issues of food, racial, environmental, and economic justice and their impacts on the health (physical, social, environmental, economic) of our communities into their classrooms, including speakers, facilitated discussions, and teaching tools. The group will also tour SE’s new Learning Garden and learn about PCC’s multi-faceted student-focused programs. Participants will receive workshop materials and follow-up curriculum development support to any participant.

Morning refreshments and a full lunch provided. $20 fee for non-PCC faculty. To register click here.
