Karin Kreider leads ISEAL, the organization that coordinates the activities of many of the most recognizable sustainability standards and eco-labels. Karin will introduce the audience to the complex voluntary standards landscape and explain the role of sustainability standards across various sectors and contexts. She will present specific case studies illustrating how the initiatives of ISEAL members utilize sustainability standards in the US and around the world. This webinar will assist sustainability educators in understanding the increasing importance of voluntary standards in the sustainability space, whether because of regulatoryroll-backs, or in supply chain management, or as an emerging component of private governance. This workshop is hosted by the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium (SCC).
